Andy Luck is a Toronto based musician and educator. He received his Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music studying percussion under Beverley Johnston and John Rudolf and music education under Lori-Anne Dolloff and Bina John. In 2011 he received his Bachelors of Education from OISE at the University of Toronto as a graduate from the renowned Inner-City Option.
Andy performs regularly across Toronto and GTA in a variety of ensembles and settings. Andy was the drummer for acclaimed Toronto punk band SuperRepeater. He is a snare drummer with the drum corps of the Grade 1 Toronto Police Pipe Band. He performed as a modern dance accompanist with the touring dance company Dusk Dances. He has toured and performed as a keyboardist and percussionist with Teak Rivers and Handsome Shadows and The Midway State.
As an educator, Andy has taught music in Public and Private School systems. Currently, he is employed with the Toronto District School Board as an occasional teacher, recently completing a long term teaching assignment as a Primary/Junior classroom music teacher at Rose Avenue Jr. Public School - an inner-city school in the heart of Toronto's downtown. Andy is a sought after pipe band drum corps instructor, teaching the drum corps of the St. Andrew's College Pipes and Drums in Aurora ON, the White-Heather Pipes and Drums in Aurora ON, and the Durham College Pipes and Drums in Oshawa, ON.
